Colin was originally from Burn near Selby and later moved to Brayton. He was a loving husband to Sandra and proud dad to Thomas, and a much loved son of Anton and Tina. Colin loved his family and friends and loved life. He spent much of his life working at Ferrybridge Power Station where colleagues soon became friends. He loved to socialise, whether it be in the local pub, days at the races, trips to London and meals out. He enjoyed playing golf. Â He loved visiting his family in Wales.
Colin was a private person, reliable and honest with a good sense of humour, he was cheeky at times, he is loved dearly and will be missed every day. He was a good friend to many. In the last weeks of his life he received excellent care whilst at St Leonard's Hospice, and as a family, we have received a lot of support. We would like to pay tribute to Colin and hopefully raise funds for the Hospice in his memory.
Thinking about you today and every day all our love ❤ mum and dadxx
Missing you Colin. You will always be in our minds. Love you always. Mam and Dad
I was shattered to hear the sad news about Colin. This donation to the hospice, is in memory of Colin who was a kind, cheerful and helpful man. Ron Ellis
